Hmm, we/you will see, but if I read something like "...games containing extreme violence will continue to be refused classification and banned from sale altogether." I don't know if I should laugh or cry. Well, I do know, but never mind.
Don't get me wrong, it's not my intention to glorify or sugarcoat "extreme violence and/or sexual content" in video games, but this is still censorship for adults, what "leaves a bad taste in my mouth"...

Let's see what's coming for our Australian gamer fellows...

Finally getting the R rating is a huge step forward for us Aussie gamers, but yeah... the caveat for banning games that are refused classification means it's still no bed of roses just yet.

That is the question. Will the refusal for classification of certain games remain in effect, or will the board re-appraise previously banned games in the light of the new R rating?

My understanding is they will submit games like mk9 to go under classification again. But yeah that would probably require some pushing from the publisher of the game for that to happen.
