As you know, I am a big fan of the 80´s and so I am even (of course ^^) also a big fan of the LASERDISC Format...



What do you think about the Laser Disc, and where do you get your movies from?

LaserDisc is an awesome format to watch movies. Before the advent of DVD's and special features. LaserDisc was the first to provide widescreen viewing, multiple audio tracks, and was the first disc format to use AC3 Dolby Digital sound. It was cause of yours and other videos on YouTube. That I got into collecting and watching LaserDisc. Anybody that is a movie fan or a fan of old technology should get a LaserDisc player and some movies.

How much LD's do you have, and what are your favourite titels?

I have two LaserDisc right now. The current titles I own are Ghostbusters and License To Kill (WideScreen Edition). I'm planning on getting more.

Maybe you could do me a little favour... I do not know how easy you can come on good 80's & 90's titles, but it would be nice if you could send me some prices - and maybe you could ask how much shipping would be from you to italy for, lets tell 3-5 discs

Is their any specific titles of 80's, 90's movies that you need to get on LaserDisc. This will give me an ideal on what to look for on the different sites such as eBay or any other sites that carry LaserDisc. I have just recently picked up a brand new pair of surround sound speakers for my home cinema. I tried them out by watching my copy of License To Kill(WS) on LaserDisc and felt like I was in the movie.

Well, I like all kind of funny comedies like for example wired science, honey I shrunk the Kids, Monster Squad, Ghost Busters, Back to the future, Howard the Duck... Just do give you a direction ;-D

The shipping international shipping cost according to my mom who works for the United States Postal Service. The cost for me send to send a package to you in Italy will cost me $4.00 (US). That's not a bad price. Now all I have to do is find you some good 80's and 90's titles on LaserDisc.

Could you start up and see, if you could get "wired science" and "Teenwolf" for me? That would be nice :-D

I will go ahead and keep my eyes open for both titles. Right now I'm currently keeping my eyes on some copies of Stay Tuned on LaserDisc. If possible, I will get two copies of the movie, one for myself and one to send to you. I think I might have to do is buy some titles and ship them to you all at once. The shipping cost might still be low but it also depends on the weight of the package. My LaserDisc Collection has grown from 2 in my last post to 21 and will still go up. I have my complete collection entered on The LaserDisc Database under the name bufferkid if you would like to take a look.
